Drivers licence information for seniors

South Australian drivers 70 years of age and older are no longer required to have mandatory drivers licence medical testing each year for their car licence if they do not have a medical condition that affects their fitness to drive. If you are 85 years of age or older and hold a class of licence other than a 'car' you will need to pass a practical driving test each year to retain that class of licence. Further information on the medical and eyesight certificate and practical driving test for aged drivers can be found on the mylicence website.
